Excursion Details

This tour in Luxor starts early in the morning before dawn. A representative of Galaxia Tours will pick you up from your hotel/cruise and take you to start your tour to the marina where you will be offered complimentary hot drinks, pastries, and sweets before embarking on a motorboat to cross to the western bank of the river. Once there, you will be transferred to the take-off area, where you will observe the preparation of the globe before taking off to the sky to enjoy the impressive sunrise over Luxor the "largest open-air museum in the world." The balloon will fly at a height of about 130-140 meters and the trip takes approximately 45 minutes. Once the tour is finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel/cruise.

General information:
  • Takeoff time in the summer is between 03:00 and 04:00 in the morning, while in winter it is between 04:00 and 05:00. The change is due to adjusting to the sunrise.
  • The flight takes 45 minutes and pick-up is 45 minutes before take-off.
  • This price includes pick-up from any of the hotels/apartments in Luxor.
  • This tour is priced as a private service.
  • The hours of the visit may vary in the month of Ramadan.
  • You need to send a copy of your passports 48 hours before the start of the tour.

Cancellation policy:
  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the start of the tour.

Children policy:
  • For children under 12 years old, child price will apply
  • Over 12 years old, adult price applies

Language:
  • The tour is done exclusively in English.
