Day 01:
CAIRO: Arrival to Cairo Airport. Visa, immigration and customs procedures with assistance from our representative. Transfer to hotel. Overnight.
Day 02:
CAIRO: Breakfast. Full-day sightseeing: Visit Memphis and Sakkara. In the afternoon, excursion to the Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Kephren and Mycerinos), the Sphinx and the valley temple of Kephren, ending with a visit to the Papyrus Institute.
Day 03:
CAIRO: Breakfast. Full-day sightseeing: Visit the Egyptian Museum to see the master pieces of the Pharaonic Era and the treasures of King Tut. In the afternoon, excursion to the Citadel of Saladin, visit the interior of the Alabaster Mosque, ending with a visit to the oriental bazaar of Khan El Khalili.
Day 04:
CAIRO/ASWAN: Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo Airport for domestic flight to Aswan. Arrival and transfer to the cruise ship in Nasser Lake. Embarkation and lunch. At noon, visit of the Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Philae was the last temple rescued by UNESCO. Possibility for an optional excursion to the Nubian Museum. Overnight onboard. Accommodation on full board basis.
Day 05:
ASWAN/WADI EL SEBOUA: Visit of the Kalabasha Temple dedicated to the god Mandulis, the hemi-speos of Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi built in honor of the goddess Isis. Cruise to Wadi El Seboua. Arrival and disembark in small boats for a visit of the Temple of Wadi El Seboua, dedicated to god Ramses II, the Temple of Thot, god of writing and wisdom, and the Greco-Roman temple of Moharaka. Navigation to Amada. Overnight.
Day 06:
WADI EL SEBOUA/KASR IBRIM: Breakfast. Visit of the Temple of Amada built during the reigns of Tutmosis III, Amenophis II and Thutmosis, and to the hemi-speos of Derr, as well as the tomb of Pennut. Navigation to Kasr Ibrim. Overnight.
Day 07:
KASR IBRIM/ABU SIMBEL: Breakfast. From the cruiser deck we will have a panoramic view of Kasr Ibrim, the only Nubian remains still standing in its place of origin. Cruise continues to Abu Simbel, the goal of the trip. In the evening Sound and Light show at the Abu Simbel temples. Overnight.
Day 08:
ABU SIMBEL/ASWAN: Visit the Abu Simbel temples built by Ramses II in honor of his beloved wife Nefertari. Breakfast after the visit and disembarkation. Transfer to Abu Simbel airport to fly to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, visit of the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk at the granite quarry. Transfer to the Nile cruiser, embarkation and lunch. In the afternoon a felucca ride on the Nile to admire the views of the Mausoleum of Aga Khan, Elephantine Island and the Botanical Garden. Overnight onboard. Accommodation on full board basis.
Day 09:
ASWAN/KOM OMBO: Navigation to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Continue to Edfu. Upon arrival visit Edfu temple dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Cruise to Esna to pass the lock.
Day 10:
ESNA/LUXOR: After passing the Esna Lock, navigation towards Luxor. Visit the Necropolis of Thebes on theWest Bank: Valley of Kings and Queens, funeral temple of Hatshepsut, known as Deir el Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. If enough time remains during the day, the Karnak and Luxor temples will also be visited.
Day 11:
LUXOR/HURGHADA: Breakfast and disembarkation. Transfer to Hurghada by bus. Arrival and check-in at hotel in Hurghada. Dinner and overnight.
Days 12 & 13:
HURGHADA: Leisure time at the hotel. Half-board. Time to relax or optional diving, snorkeling or desert safari excursion.
Day 14:
HURGHADA/CAIRO: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Day 15:
CAIRO: Breakfast. Transfer to Cairoa airport. Departure.
