Ra was the king of gods and father of the creation. He was a sun god and in command of the chariot that rode across the sky during the day.

God Ra, seen also as a king, was the patron of the pharaoh. Ra is the most central god of the Egyptian pantheon and always depicted as a pharaoh wearing the sun disk on his head.

He was believed to command the sky, the earth, and the underworld and was associated with the falcon.

As the major deity in ancient Egyptian religion, God Ra was considered patron of the sun, heaven, kingship, power and light.
