Egypt has a long summer, from mid-March until the beginning of December with temperatures during the daytime between 25 ?C and 40?C. Daytime temperatures during winter vary between 15?C and 28?C.At night, temperatures sink very fast, in winter sometimes under 10ฐC. Temperatures in Upper Egypt (south), are usually 5ฐC higher than in Cairo and the rest of the north of Egypt.
