:: BOAT-TRIP TO GIFTUN ISLAND
 


(Full day)

Boat trip to snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea around the island of Giftun. On its way to the island the boat will anchor to provide opportunity to snorkel and admire the variety of corals and multicoloured fish.
Upon arrival to Giftun a simple lunch will be served (rice, green salad, a piece of fresh grilled fish, soft drink  and mineral water). Time on the island can be spent by taking a sunbath, to snorkel or to swim. Possibility to shower. In the afternoon the ship returns to the harbour. From there, transport to the hotel.

Departure time:
08.00 till 16.00 h during winter
09.00 till 17.00 h during summer


:: TRIP WITH A GLASS-BOTTOM BOAT
 


On board a boat with a glass bottom we can admire the fascinating flora and fauna of the Red Sea. The trip lasts about an hour (food not included).


:: CITY OF HURGADA
 

This is a visit to the old part of the city of Hurgada. The old harbour with its wharfs and the typical commercial centre of the city. This trip can be arranged with or without dinner. The excursion can be done at any hour, day or night.


:: TRIP ?SINDBAD?-SUBMARINE
 

 (2 hours) Submarine ?Sindbad? takes up to 44 persons and dives 20 m to explore the flora and fauna of the Red Sea. Five trips daily.


:: DESERT SAFARI
 

 

This excursion is made by 4x4 until we reach the Bedouin village, 40 kms from Hurghada. We shall make a stop on the way to see mirages, and another stop where we shall see a panoramic view from a mountain, including the highest mountain of the Red Sea Sierra, Yebel El Shayeb, 1764 m high. Once we arrive at the Bedouin village, a typical Bedouin tea will be offered inside the Bedouin dwellings made of woven camel hair, where we shall hear an explanation of the history and traditions of the Bedouins.

 

We shall also visit a well and a palm valley with desert trees. At sunset we shall go to a hill where we can enjoy the unforgettable scenery, then we shall return back to the Bedouins to have a typical Bedouin dinner consisting of minced meat (Kofta) and chicken, rice, green salad, sesame paste (Tahina), fruits and water.

 

Hours: Departure 13.00 h, return 19.30 h during the winter

:: DINNER WITH FOLKLORE SHOW
 

 

A dinner with Oriental food accompanied by a unique show with folklore dances,  oriental belly dancing and the dance of the horses. The dances represent the different styles of the region. Dinner and show in a medieval place called ?Alf Leila We Leila? (1001 Nights).
